Rheology Additives
Rheology Additives is a key component of paint and ink coatings, controlling the precise properties and characteristics of the fluid product.
In coatings technology, the rheological properties are determined by the composition and concentration of the components in a coating formulation, which consists of binders (polymers, oligomers, reactive diluents), solvents (organic, water), pigments (organic, inorganic), fillers and additives (stabilisers, initiators, catalysts, etc).
As a result, there is no universal solution for all coatings and the rheological properties of a coating formulation may vary widely over its life cycle, from the production process to transport, storage and ultimately the (industrial) application process.
Camen Chemie offers a diverse range of additives for systems with different polarities, completing the range of products available and helping to customise suitable products for special cases.
